Author Teresa E. Love’s goal was to present the gospel in a children’s book that would be simple enough for beginning or struggling readers while challenging enough for strong readers, yet so enjoyable that anyone would never tire of rereading it. Her debut book, Why Did God Make Pomegranates?, does just that.

This colorful picture book is about an observant little girl who loves God and loves to go to the grocery store.  When she discovers a pomegranate, she questions God’s reasoning and learns the gospel truth about the depth of God’s love. The book is simple enough for a very young reader to understand, yet one that older readers, and even parents, will enjoy and learn from. The illustrations are vibrant, clear, and thought provoking.
